Every girl* deserves the chance to explore technology with confidence. I hope to keep creating spaces where girls* feel supported as they grow into STEM and discover their potential.

Hackergal’s environment has allowed me to explore my interest in STEM and meet like-minded girls* across the country. My journey which started by learning how to code later on lead to me teaching girls code and web design. My highlight has been getting to give back to the community and helping to provide a safe space to learn and explore tech.

Through Hackergal, I realized how important it is for girls* in tech to have a supportive community. Starting with little coding experience, teaching and learning with others strengthened my passion for computer science and inspired me to help more girls feel confident exploring STEM.
