Hackergal is proud to announce the official launch of the Hackergal Scholarship Program! The Hackergal Scholarship Program seeks to empower students to realize their potential as future leaders in STEAM. This year’s 2022/2023 scholarship is sponsored by RBCx and will be awarded to two eligible participants from our Ambassador Program. Winners of the scholarship will have the opportunity to participate in Hackergal’s Board of Directors for one year! This scholarship allows self-identifying girls and non-binary learners to jump-start their future in tech! For more information about the program, visit our Scholarship page.
Level 2: Hackergal Junior Programmer
We are excited to introduce Level 2: Hackergal Junior Programmer, a new coding level, on Hackergal Hub! Level 2 is a project-based level, focused on creating an interactive board game that explores new topics with every lesson. Over the course of 9 lessons, Hackergals gain an understanding of the evolution of board games to more advanced digital gaming technologies and explore new commands. This fun and innovative level will help cultivate coding concepts for Hackergals in grades 6-9!
