Our Curriculum
Our curriculum uses an interdisciplinary, project-based approach that encourages girls* and gender-diverse learners to learn by doing. We focus on building confidence through collaboration, embracing mistakes, solving problems, and fostering a growth mindset. With our 6 future-ready competencies and core skills, we equip students with the ability to meet the complex demands of diverse contexts, ensuring success in both their everyday lives and futures. Step-by-step instructional videos guide students through each lesson, making coding accessible for all, and all lessons are aligned with the provincial curriculum for easy classroom integration!
How the Hackergal Curriculum Works
Getting started with Hackergal is easy! First, create a free educator account on Hackergal Hub to unlock resources and ready-to-use lesson plans. These materials are designed to inspire and engage students while helping them build essential coding skills. You can then integrate the lessons into your classroom or Hackergal Coding Club, guiding your students as they explore technology, collaborate, and develop confidence for their future in tech.
