Hackergal Ambassadors are problem solvers, innovators, and changemakers, leading by example and advocating for greater diversity and inclusion in the tech industry across Canada.
Built by girls for girls, Hackergal’s Ambassador Program equips girls with the skills, tools, and confidence to pave the way for a better, brighter future.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Be a role model
- Learn to code with a purpose and a passion
- Collaborate with like-minded girls
- Host a coding club and teach other girls to code
- Be eligible for letters of reference
Aug – Sept
01. Code Together
Participate in team building activities while learning how to code using Lynx Coding Platform. A text based system that acts as a stepping stone to learn advanced professional coding languages.
Oct – Dec
02. Learn to Lead
Find your voice as a role model. Impart the coding skills and experience you’ve gained to others through Hackergal’s live webinars, workshops and presentations at organizations across Canada.
Jan – Apr
03. Host a Club
Learn how to plan, outreach, and facilitate a coding club for girls in your local community! Meet women in tech industry experts through exclusive Ambassador events and opportunities.
May – Jun
04. Inspire Others
Celebrate and share your journey as a Hackergal Ambassador through Hackergal’s Annual Hackathon Program. Inspire other girls to the possibilities of coding and how much fun it can be!
