About Our Workshops

Our workshops are designed to be engaging and interactive, encouraging educators to learn more about coding and digital skills education, build a Hackergal Coding Club in their school or community, and practice their learning alongside their colleagues.

As an educational charity, we make webinars and workshops available at no cost to schools, homeschool classrooms, Coding Clubs, or other learning spaces in Canada. Simply press the “Request a Workshop” button and fill out our Request Form. 

Hackergal Workshops


The following workshops are available by request for in-person or virtual delivery across Canada.

Hackergal 101 (45 mins)

This workshop for prospective Hackergal Facilitators explores Hackergal’s diverse program offerings. We’ll take you through our Coding Club model, free curriculum and resources, and tips on developing Hackergal programming in your community!

Intro to Code (1 hr)

Interested in learning to code? This webinar is right for you. You’ll learn the basics of coding in a fun and interactive way. Throughout this 1-hour webinar, we’ll explore sample projects and we’ll teach you how to execute the basics commands to help get your coding skills up and started! Offered for both Learners and Facilitators.
